Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Lake Eufaula Retreats. By booking a reservation, you agree to the following terms and conditions. 

1. Cancellation Policy:

   • Cancellations made within 30 days of the reservation start date are non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival may be eligible for a refund, less any applicable processing fees. No-shows, early departures, or changes within the 30-day window will not be refunded.

2. Pet Policy:

   • Pet-friendly properties may require a non-refundable pet fee, which varies by property.
   • All pets must be disclosed at the time of booking
   • Unauthorized pets may result in additional fees or immediate termination of the reservation without refund
   • Guests are responsible for any damage or excessive cleaning caused by pets

3. Check-Out Time:

   • Check-out: 10:00 AM
   • A 15-minute grace period is allowed. Failure to vacate the property by 10:15 AM will result in a $75 per hour late check-out fee, charged to the card on file. 

4. SECURITY DEPOSIT (Damage Hold):

   A $250 refundable damage hold will be placed on the guest's credit card before or at the time of check-in. The hold will be released within 7 business days after check-out, provided:
   • No damage is found
   • No additional cleaning is required
   • No violations of this agreement occur
   • Lake Eufaula Retreats reserves the right to apply any portion of the hold toward damages, cleaning fees, or violations. Guests remain responsible for any costs exceeding the deposit amount.

5. Damages and Liability:

   • Guests Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft that occurs during their stay, including but not limited to furniture, appliances, fixtures, linens, and décor. If damage is discovered during or after the stay, the cost of repair or replacement will be charged to the card on file. In cases of excessive damage, guests may be liable for costs exceeding the security deposit amount.
6. CLEANING & EXCESSIVE MESS: All properties are professionally cleaned between guests. If the property is left in a condition requiring excessive cleaning, including but not limited to trash removal, spills, stains, pet messes, or abnormal wear, an additional cleaning fee will be charged to the card on file.
7. SMOKING & VAPING POLICY Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside all properties. If evidence of smoking or vaping is found inside the home, a $250 cleaning and deodorization fee will be charged, and additional costs may apply if damages exceed this amount. Violation of this policy may also result in termination of the stay without refund.

8. PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION By booking, the guest expressly authorizes Lake Eufaula Retreats to charge the credit card on file for:

   • Damages
   • Cleaning fees
   • Smoking/vaping violations
   • Late check-out fees
   • Policy violations
   • Any unpaid balances
9. OCCUPANCY & USE Only registered guests are permitted to occupy the property. Events, parties, or unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited unless approved in writing. Violation may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund. 
10. PROPERTY CONDITION & REPORTING Guests agree to report any issues, damages, or maintenance concerns immediately upon arrival. Failure to report issues may result in the guest being held responsible for those damages.

11. HOUSE RULES & CONDUCT Guests agree to:

    • Follow all house rules provided
    • Respect neighbors and local regulations
    • Avoid excessive noise or disruptive behavior
    • Violation may result in additional charges or removal from the property without refund.

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY Lake Eufaula Retreats is not responsible for:

    • Accidents, injuries, or illness during the stay
    • Loss or damage to personal belongings
    • Guests assume all risks associated with their stay.
13. ACKNOWLEDGMENT By booking this reservation, the guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions outlined above.
